Surface Festival,
Canberra ACT

For the inaugural Surface Festival in Canberra, Karri was invited to paint three murals. The first mural is located at the Ainslie Ave entrance to the Canberra Centre and was painted over the course of the three-day festival.

The subsequent two murals are a collaboration between artists Tim Phibs, Bradley Eastman and Eddie Longford and are located in the Parliamentary Triangle, Canberra. These murals were painted in the Commonwealth Park and Parkes Way walking tunnels, and the artists worked intuitively over two weeks to paint more than 280sqm of tunnel walls.

The colours and nature found in these murals are inspired by aspects found within the surroudning Parliamentary Triangle.
