About
Karri McPherson
Born in Hong Kong, SAR
Lives & works in Adelaide, Australia
Karri McPherson is an Australian contemporary artist who explores the intersection of philosophy, nature, and mathematics. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of nuance, her paintings often portray abstract philosophical ideas intertwined with the mathematical principles that underscore our universe. Guided by precision and inspired by the elegance of mathematical equations, Karri transcends conventional boundaries, using geometric forms as her primary artistic language. Her work aims to convey the inherent beauty between the balance of order and chaos in the natural world, encouraging contemplation on the interconnectedness of existence and humanity's place within the universe.
